The course aims to provide DSE students with focused training on skills required for writing different genres covered in DSE English Language Syllabus.
It covers the following aspects:
Review of DSE 2015-2024 past papers and requirements for different Genres.
Systematic strategy to develop a piece of writing responding to all prompts in question.
Grammar and Lexis for Different Genres
Precise use of signposting language
Mastering tone and appropriacy
Word Bank for Various Topics
In-lesson writing tasks according to strategies
Review and comments on student’s completed tasks
Date：Monday
Time : 3pm - 4:45pm or 7pm - 8:45pm
Location：Desk-one Mong Kok / Sha Tin / Tsuen Wan
Fees: $600/1.45hr
*Date and time can be discussed and agreed upon between the student and the tutor

Academic Background: Bachelor of Arts (Second Class First Division Honours), University of Hong Kong
Working Experience: Was Involved in international business for 15 years. Have sound communication skills and experienced in handling various writing genres
Teaching Experience: Have been working as a private English tutor for HKDSE English syllabus, covering all 4 papers, for 8 years.
Students: Mainly secondary students
